Get Personal For Bridesmaid Gifts

Instead of searching for unusual gifts for your bridesmaids, consider making classic, timeless gifts more personal. Jewelry and silver keepsakes are always appropriate. They become more meaningful when you choose something a little different or personal for each friend. Here are a few tips on how to make your bridesmaid gifts more memorable.

Consider selecting a particular jewelry designer or style. You might buy earrings for one friend, a necklace for another, pretty hair clips for a third.

Have silver items such as compacts, picture frames, key chains or julep cups engraved with your bridesmaids' initials. Monogrammed cosmetic or jewelry bags also make wonderful gifts.

Accessories for their wedding outfits are another possibility. Be sure to choose items they will wear or use again, such as dainty handbags in different colors or luxurious shawls.

You may also make custom gift packages for each friend. Fill a beautiful box with things she'll love, such as bath soaps, gels, and lotions. Consider making a gift box that includes teas, a teapot and an assortment of honeys. You might treat everyone to a trip to a day spa for manicures and pedicures or massages.

These type of ideas also apply to the gifts the groom selects for his groomsmen. He might buy each one a different pair of cuff links, a tie or a cashmere scarf. He could have heavy glass mugs, money clips or leather coasters engraved with their initials. Or he might take everyone for a round of golf or another activity that they will all enjoy.

Or you can leave it to an artist to come up with a creative gift for bridesmaids. Consider hand-painted wine glasses and champagne flutes. Intricate designs include yellow roses, red roses, purple grapes and holly berries. From start to finish, the process takes about 10 hours. Most of that is kiln time. It takes about an hour to paint each glass. Lead-free pigments make the glasses safe for drinking.

Here are a few other ideas:

PICTURE OF JOY - Have your group's photo printed on the front of a canvas photo album.

WHAT'S HER HANDLE? - Give Bermuda bags - each with a different panel.

CALENDAR GIRLS - Have custom calendars made with each month showing pictures of you and your friends.

STAR SEARCH - Give your bridesmaids necklaces featuring a different zodiac sign.

FILL 'EM UP - Fill embroidered travel or cosmetic bags with goodies.

STAMP OF APPROVAL - Put name, address or initials on chrome embossers.

Finally, take time to pick gifts for your friends. It's a rare time you can show them how much you appreciate their support. Try to get them something that is practical, not just for use on your wedding day. To save time, give a similar thing to everyone. You can give them black photo totes, for example, but to make them more personal, put different pictures in each one. Do not wait until the last minute; it takes time for things to be personalized. The best way to make sure your bridesmaids will love their gifts is to personalize them. Think engraved or something personal.....chandelier earrings, necklaces and bracelets in both modern and vintage trends. Even before your wedding, they stood by your side, so say thanks to your bridesmaids with gifts as personal as they are unique.

A Cricut tote is a very useful item in that it can help store many of the supplies that are used for scrapbooking including the machine. Cricut storage totes come in an assortment of sizes, colors, and styles. Many of the colors come with polka dots, or other chic colors. Messenger bags, larger bags like suitcases, shoulder bags, and wheeled totes specifically for the Cricut Expression Machine are just a few of the styles available. Along with having a tote for your supplies, a stylish tote can make you feel good about yourself too.

If you tend to scrapbook primarily at home, an organized space is a must so you can work more efficiently. To help arrange your scrapping area, a tote can be used to hold the items that you use most frequently while other items can be stored in bins and on shelves. A Cricut tote bag can also be used to hold duplicates of some of your home supplies that you only take to crops. Your bag will already be packed and ready if you are called for a last minute crop.

Some scrapbookers just don't have enough room at home to designate one room for just their scrapbooking. These scrappers need to be ultra organized and use totes to hold their items. Cricut tote bags can be especially useful in these circumstances where all your supplies need to be somewhat portable.

Whether you have a room set up for your supplies or you are a scrapper on the go, a Cricut Tote will work for you. What tote is the best for you?
